Retiree Medical & Dental Enrollment
Post Falls School District retirees can elect to enroll in the medical and dental plans currently offered by the District. Once enrolled, retirees do not need to make elections every year—changes are only required if they want to update their coverage.
How to Make Changes

Medical plan changes — Retirees who are already enrolled can email Human Resources at humanresources@sd273.com to request changes.

New medical enrollment — Retirees who are not currently enrolled must complete the medical plan application (you’ll link it) and submit to Human Resources to begin coverage.

Minor dental changes — Small updates (like adding or removing dependents) can be requested by emailing Human Resources.

Changing dental plans — To switch dental plans, retirees must complete the application for the new plan and email Human Resources requesting to end their current coverage, including the last date of coverage.
Retiree Open Enrollment Periods

Under age 65 — August 1 through September 30 each year

Age 65 and over — October 15 through December 7 each year

PERSI Account & Sick Leave Information
For questions about PERSI accounts, retirement benefits, or sick leave balances, retirees must contact PERSI directly. The District does not have access to individual PERSI records.
